This 6" ID Wall Eye Wall Port will allow the user to install a fully dressed port in a wall or other barrier that has a thickness range from 4 3/4" thick up to 7 1/2" thick. This is a port that runs from one side of a wall to the other, all the way through the wall. It does not allow access to the interior of the wall stud area. This unit has a 7" OD on the tube that goes through the wall so a 7 1/8" - 7 1/4" hole would be recommended for installation. This little bit of clearance on the units OD allows for a much smoother process when installing the unit with regards to alignment. The 3/8" flange that protrudes around the OD of the unit will provide an aesthetically pleasing look to the install once it is complete. This will leave a 6" dressed and fully tubed opening through a wall once installed. We do recommend putting a firebreak on the interior of the unit once install has been complete.
